WHAT IS A PRE-LISTING INSPECTION?

A pre-listing inspection is a home inspection that is
performed before listing the home for sale. A pre-listing
inspection is beneficial because the inspector can detect
previously unknown problems or potential upgrades that might need to be addressed prior to listing the home. Being aware of issues in advance will also allow for disclosure of problems when selling, which can result in a smoother transaction for all parties.

WHY GET A HOME INSPECTION?

Your purchase could be the biggest one of your life! Because of this, we know that you want to protect this very important investment. Insight Home and Building Inspections will assist you in learning more about the major components of the home. The inspector will invite you along as he reviews the home, and will show you what is a benefit about the home, as well as items that may need some servicing or repair. This whole process can give you the peace of mind that you need because you will know you are making an informed decision.

 Reduce the chance for surprises
 An opportunity to become educated about the condition of the home and how to maintain it

WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?

A home inspection is so much more than just the written report that you will receive. It is an opportunity. During the inspection process you will be given an opportunity to receive unbiased information about the condition of the home, as well as an opportunity to ask any questions that you might have. Not only that, but you will be free to express any concerns that you might have and have the inspector give you a straightforward answer regarding your concern. This whole process can become a liability reduction in that you will know exactly what you need to in order to finish your negotiations with the seller, plus, you will know ahead of time if there will be any money needed up front to address or repair something. Finally, the home inspection becomes an historical documentation of the condition and status of the home.
